Our Past
Live Oak Landscapes has a rich and respected history of service to the great states of Mississippi and Louisiana since 1937; when the family business begun as, "Thompson Tree and Spraying Service". As the company continued to grow, we have added more services, products, area coverage and opportunities for our community. Steadily growing from these simple beginnings to a full featured landscaping institution capable of handily helping you meet all your landscaping needs, whatever they may be.
Our Present
Live Oak has been based at 169 Homochitto Street, Natchez, Mississippi since 1979. There you can find our Nursery and Garden Center as well as our fleet of trucks, heavy equipment, and the fine folks who make Live Oak the premier place for your landscapes.
Our Nursery staff can help you find that perfect plant to give as a gift or for yourself. With our front tables, two greenhouses, and many outside acres we are sure to have just the kind of tree, shrub, or flower you desire. From azaleas to zinnias and everything in between, we will either have it on site or we can put together an order for you. Come on by and you might even see something you had never seen before, and decide it's just the thing for your scenery.
In addition to the Nursery and Garden Center, our top-notch landscaping crews are prepared to put their skills to your pleasure in aiding your vision of a picture-perfect home or contracted landscape project. We are liscenced and bonded in both Mississippi and Louisiana and have done jobs for general contractors in Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.

As Live Oak has steadily grown; we have branched out into more and more contracting projects and we will continue to provide more of these services in the future.
